Membership Choices

Four main membership options are available to fit the needs and budgets of different types of sailors. Each membership type is considered a “family” membership with rights extending to the spouse and non-adult children of the primary member.  For associated fees and costs, contact the Membership Director.

Regular

Regular members enjoy access to all Club facilities and privileges.  Regular members are allowed to reserve slips (wet or dry) and may also vote on Club business.  Regular Membership status is for those who currently own a boat that they would like to store at the Club, or may in the future, or for anyone who wants to enjoy all that LLSC has to offer.  Regular members can also hold office and vote on club-associated business.

Associate

Associate members enjoy full access to Club facilities and privileges at a reduced rate, but may not reserve a slip or vote on club business.  Associate membership is a great choice for those new to sailing or anyone who does not plan to keep a boat at the club.  Associate members may still use club-owned sailboats for an additional fee (once you are qualified and join the Club boat program).

Intermediate

Intermediate membership offers the same rights and privileges as Regular membership at a reduced rate for those not yet 30 years of age.

Student

Full-time students not yet 30 years of age can apply for student membership, which also offers the same rights and privileges as Regular membership at a further-reduced rate.

Associate, Intermediate, and Student members are not able to hold office or vote on Club-related business.
